Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 6, 2026
This policy explains how SlideBeaver handles presentation files and website usage information. You can use the editor without an account and turn off usage analytics at any time.
Service and contact
SlideBeaver is the name of this website and its browser-based presentation tools.
For questions or privacy requests, contact contact@html-to-pptx.com. Please describe your request without attaching confidential presentation files.
Your presentation files
HTML files are read, edited and converted in your browser. We do not upload your presentation to a conversion server or provide account-based cloud storage. Download your HTML or PPTX before closing or refreshing the editor.
Images, fonts and other remote resources referenced by your HTML may request their original hosts. Those hosts may receive your IP address and browser information under their own policies. A downloaded HTML deck may continue to reference these resources.
Optional usage analytics
Google Analytics is on by default to help us understand website visits and how the editor is used. You can turn it off using Privacy Settings. Custom events include button actions, file size and type, slide count, source category, export duration, categorized errors, random event identifiers and a voluntary good/bad rating. These custom events do not contain presentation text, local filenames or file contents.
Google may process browser, device, network and visit information, and use analytics cookies. Read how Google uses information from sites that use its services. Advertising consent and Google signals are disabled in our tag configuration.
Analytics tags load unless you have turned analytics off in this browser. We retain existing rejection choices and do not replay events from while analytics were off or unavailable. Microsoft Clarity session recording is not enabled in this version.
Cookies and browser storage
- Privacy preference:
slidebeaver_privacy_v1stores settings you explicitly change. An off setting does not expire automatically; an on setting lasts up to 180 days, after which the default applies. We do not record a consent choice merely because you visit. If browser storage is unavailable, your choice applies to the current page session. - Optional export statistics: while analytics are on,
ahse_client_id,ahse_upload_export_countandahse_first_success_atstore a browser identifier, successful uploaded-deck export count and first-success date. They do not store your deck and have no separate automatic expiry. - Google Analytics cookies: Google may set
_gaand related first-party analytics cookies while analytics are on. Their lifetime depends on the service configuration and browser restrictions.
Turning analytics off clears our export-statistics keys and known first-party analytics cookies. You can also clear website data in your browser. Removing your preference restores the default-on setting; editing and exporting remain available.
Hosting, retention and third parties
Vercel delivers this website and may process request information, such as IP addresses and browser details, for hosting, security and reliability. This is separate from uploading a deck for conversion. See Vercel's privacy notice.
Local export-statistics records remain until you turn analytics off or clear browser storage. Previously sent analytics and hosting records follow the providers' applicable retention settings and policies. Turning analytics off stops future optional collection; it does not automatically delete records already held by a provider.
Providers may process website information outside your country. Presentation files referenced through external resources remain subject to those resources' providers.
Your choices and privacy requests
You can turn usage analytics off or back on using in the footer or the editor's Privacy menu. Your setting applies to this browser, and turning analytics off does not limit editing or downloads.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict processing of information, withdraw consent, or complain to the relevant privacy authority. Contact the operator to discuss an applicable request. We cannot retrieve a presentation that was only processed in your browser.
Changes and related terms
We update the date above when this policy changes. Material changes to optional collection may require a new choice. See our Terms of Use for tool and output boundaries.
